WED April 1 -Prep for Palm Sunday Night Children's Program

We will be hosting 3 churches for a Palm Sunday Service in the evening and we are going to be in charge of the kids -K-2, I think. So, we'll need a team of you guys ready to play games with them, a team ready to play and sing music with them, a team to help with the "lesson/story time" and a team to possibly do a simple craft with them. Then when it's over -they'll feed us all!

What's Going On?

You may be wondering. I mean, over a week since the last blog post -that's pretty lame -if people even still say that. Anyway, since the big dramatic presentation on Wed. night the 11Th which I have no evidence of...and the Golladay Holliday. (The Band was GREAT, by the way!)

..and then me working late and you guys hashing out hot topics with Mr. Steve -well -I guess, I have only words to post, which is so unlike me. (Maybe because I rarely enjoy a book without at least a photo/illustration or two per chapter.)

Anyway, this is a pretty big week for you guys -the 30 HOUR FAMINE is Friday night through Sunday morning. Should be fun but a little different than we had planned. Here's why...

We cannot stay the night at the church. So, FRIDAY after our Mystery Adventure to kick off the famine -we'll most likely be splitting up guys/ girls at separate houses to play games and sleep. Then, SATURDAY -we'll regroup and go do some service projects around town. Then, we'll head home to sleep and fast until our Breakfast together on SUNDAY morning. WOW!

But before all of that...you guys have another great lesson "Don't Pass the Buck, Step Up!" this Sunday Night at Vantage Point.

The girls also have another great lesson called "The Big Deal..." You've gotta come out to meet with your small group about this one. Don't miss it -and for Caitlin's group -well who knows what she'll do this week...

And it's highest time for a new Best Game Ever, of course. And the Johnson's are on for Snack -so there you have it.
OH and an update on Brandon's last 3 TESTS -A-OK! Wahoo Brandon. We are so glad it's OVER for you.

Then WEDNESDAY -is Easter Basket Packing Night during Youth Group. So, come prepared to pack all of the goodies we purchased as well as those from the rest of the church. We'll need a lot of helpers for this.

So, see -it's gonna be a great week and we are looking forward to spending most of it with you!
